Surf the Internet and share data at the speed up to 500Mbps Phy rates through powerline, 300Mbps via Wireless, in any outdoor environment - and rest assured with the best security from eavesdroppers through encryption on the power circuit and WLAN. The PLV-500AV-PEWN HomePlug engine is a Qualcomm Atheros AR7420 chipset. It features faster processing power, Fast Ethernet host interfaces and an enhanced analog front end. The solution is compliance with IEEE1901 and Homeplug AV, hence allowing hassle free compatibility with existing Homeplug AV devices and other suppliers of IEEE1901 PLC (Powerline Line Communication) devices. As for the Wireless, it is using Qualcomm Atheros AR9344 2x2 2.4/5 GHz Wireless N SoC chipset. Enhanced Quality of Service (QOS) also provides the guaranteed bandwidth reservations for multimedia payloads including TV over IP (IPTV), higher data rate broadband sharing, Online-Gaming, VoIP Calls, extending Wireless LANs coverage, Audio-Video transmission across the network as well as Network camera connectivity. The PLV-500AV-PEWN provides a simple connect push button for a convenient way of creating HomePlug networking without the need to using the Device Utility on your computer.
